The Friends Collective will host a virtual 5K/10K run/walk from September 1 - September 30. Let's race together to save families from hunger!
Skyrocketing food costs, gas prices that are through the roof, coupled with lagging salaries, have left a segment of our community with less money to purchase the basics.
Join us to support this much needed cause while having fun!
Here is how it works.....
1. Register to secure your spot.
2. Get your medal mailed straight to your door.
3. Run/walk the distance on your own or with your family/friends, on a course of your choosing or treadmill. Feel free to use your favorite distance tracking app or watch.
4. Submit your results to the results tab on our website!
Your participation will help benefit needy families in the DMV.
Friends Collective is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that uses its network of resources to reallocate food that would have gone to waste towards families and communities in need.
